Comhan introduces the new T-Flex 120/1 DT Outdoor: the fabric is made to measure based on the inner textile format, and if in practice the fabric needs to be tighter, it can be pinned into the outer textile detail. This makes only a few mm di­fference, however, in practice it is often just what is needed. Especially made for outdoor advertising with printed fabrics/textiles, non-illuminated or LED bar illuminated!

Development in Europe: smaller sized outdoor LED lightboxes are increasingly being provided with printed outdoor textiles instead of the heavier and environmentally more unfriendly acrylic, polycarbonate, or the heavier PVC banner materials.

Polyester fabrics, textiles and banners for outdoor use become more and more common, not only because of the environment. Also improved product features and the improved printing techniques play a big role. This also has to do with cost aspects. Acrylic or polycarbonate with a print or foil cost more in comparison with printed textiles. Also, the light weight, the easy manufacturability and possibility to change the advertising more easily. Less plastic and acrylic are used when producing LED boxes and the overall production time needs to be shorted.

T-Flex 120 DT Outdoor

In our outdoor tension-systems like EasyFlex and DainoFlex environmentally friendly banners and fabrics can already be used, however, there’s need for smaller lightboxes using outdoor fabrics as well where these systems are a bit too heavy. Several customers requested us to create a easy to assemble (OUTDOOR) textile LED box profile with a depth of 120 mm.

Features

  • A depth of 120 mm was chosen to save on LED’s and still results in bright and smooth illumination.
  • Using 175° wide angle LED’s (IP67)
  • Re-enforcement tube 40 x 20 x 3.0 mm (additional support in combination with 131089)
  • Backpanel 2.0 mm ACP – aluminium – composite Matt White
  • The graphic can be secured (locked in) with the removable retainer/ trim which prevents the graphic of blowing out.
  • Profiles standard with protection foil to protect the surface when sawing and producing boxes
