Are you familiar with our self-adhesive noise reduction strip on a roll? It is specially developed for reducing vibration in metal and can be used under aluminium window sills to minimise the noise of rain drops (effect of pelting rain).
Thanks to the excellent self-adhesive properties of the tape, it adheres to most surfaces, including aluminium, steel glass, (treated) wood and PVC.
Composition of noise reduction strip
The noise reduction strip is made of a plasto-elastic butyl mass with strong adhesive properties, covered with black, painted aluminium film. The material is two to four times lighter than traditional products, which is beneficial in terms of the quantity required to achieve the same effectiveness.
Other advantages of anti-vibration material:
- More environmentally-friendly than bitumen.
- Lower migration than bitumen.
- Excellent self-adhesive properties on most surfaces.
- Can be combined with most building materials.
Range
- Widths of 50, 75, 100 and 150 mm available from stock.
- Other widths available on request.
